Testing and Confirmed Cases
To protect patient privacy, 新月直播 has established a minimum threshold of five for reporting numbers of inpatients with laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19.
新月直播 internal counts as of 2:20 p.m. on 7/2/20:
- 49 inpatients are being treated for COVID-19.
- 15 inpatients who are positive for COVID-19 are being treated in the ICU.
- Seven who are positive for COVID-19 are on ventilators.
- 1,321 (cumulative) unique positives for COVID-19 tests including results from the ED, triage tent and inpatient. These individuals are not necessarily in the hospital.
- 10,679 (cumulative) unique negatives for COVID-19 at 新月直播 sites.
- 1,692 (cumulative) positive COVID-19 at 新月直播 sites. These individuals are not necessarily in the hospital.
- 12,620 (cumulative) negative tests at 新月直播 sites.
- 315 inpatients (cumulative) who were positive for COVID-19 have been discharged.
- 71 inpatients (cumulative) who were positive for COVID-19 have died at 新月直播. This is not an indication of the cause of death, only that the individuals were positive for COVID-19 at the time of death.
- 39 Tuscaloosa County residents (cumulative) who were positive for COVID-19 have died (per the Alabama Department of Public Health).
Also included is a chart showing the percent positive among those tested at 新月直播 locations. This chart reflects totals by the end of each day (except today).
No Remote Site Testing Tomorrow, Friday, July 3
新月直播’s COVID-19 screening and testing service at its remote site in the Laundry Lot just west of 新月直播 Regional Medical Center will be closed this Friday (July 3) for the holiday weekend. Next week the site will be back to its regular hours, Monday through Friday, 7–11 a.m.
