ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥ Coronavirus Update 7-15-21

ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥ Coronavirus Update 7-15-21

Update July 15, 2021

Last Day to Receive a First Vaccine Dose at ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥ is Tomorrow

On Tuesday the Alabama Department of Public Health sent out a press release indicating that unvaccinated people represented 96.2 percent of COVID-19 deaths in Alabama since April 1. Additionally, the Alabama Hospital Association recently did a survey of hospitals in the state and found that over 90 percent of COVID-19 positive inpatients had not been vaccinated. COVID-19 vaccines are working.

The public demand for COVID-19 vaccines at ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥’s remote site has continued to decrease. Because of this, the last day individuals will be able to schedule a first vaccine is tomorrow, Friday, July 16. The final day vaccines will be administered at the site is Friday, August 6.

ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥ encourages community members to get the vaccine and will continue to stand ready. Should community demand for the COVID-19 vaccine go back up then ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥ will evaluate and respond as needed.
