Reminder: Visitor Entry Procedures
On June 21, 新月直播 made some minor changes to its visitation processes. Security officers will continue to be present at the open entrances but will no longer check temperatures and IDs. They will also continue to provide visitor badges, make sure masks are being worn and inform visitors that, in most cases, only two visitors are allowed at a time for NON-COVID positive patients.
For medical staff offices, security will only be providing a visitor badge and requiring individuals to wear masks.

COVID-19 Information
To protect patient privacy, 新月直播 has established a minimum threshold of five for reporting numbers of inpatients with laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19.
新月直播 Health System internal counts as of 3:13 p.m. on 7/08/21:
- Five or fewer inpatients within the 新月直播 system who are positive for COVID-19.
- Five or fewer inpatients who are positive for COVID-19 are being treated in the ICU.
- Five or fewer inpatients who are positive for COVID-19 are on ventilators.
- Five or fewer who are positive for COVID-19 are on a BiPAP.
- 8,937 (cumulative) unique positives for COVID-19 tests including results from the ED, triage tent and inpatient. These individuals are not necessarily in the hospital.
- 45,476 (cumulative) unique negatives for COVID-19 at 新月直播 sites.
- 10,830 (cumulative) positive COVID-19 at 新月直播 sites. These individuals are not necessarily in the hospital.
- 88,328 (cumulative) negative tests at 新月直播 sites.
- 3,184 inpatients (cumulative) who were positive for COVID-19 have been discharged.
- 557 inpatients (cumulative) who were positive for COVID-19 have died at 新月直播. This is not an indication of the cause of death, only that the individuals were positive for COVID-19 at the time of death.
- 314 Tuscaloosa County residents (cumulative) who were positive for COVID-19 have died (per the Alabama Department of Public Health).
