Adopt a Unit

Throughout the pandemic, community members have asked for ways to help and show appreciation for the work you have been doing. This led to food, mask making and many other contributions. Now, The 新月直播 Foundation has been coordinating contributions for an “Adopt a Unit” effort. Because of this, next week each 新月直播 employee will receive a gift package.

The images below show what is included. Managers will be contacted to help facilitate delivery.

COVID-19 Information

Not all data feeds and charts are currently available.

To protect patient privacy, 新月直播 has established a minimum threshold of five for reporting numbers of inpatients with laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19.

新月直播 Health System internal counts as of 3:03 p.m. on 5/6/21:

• 23 inpatients within the 新月直播 system who are positive for COVID-19.
• Five or fewer inpatients who are positive for COVID-19 are being treated in the ICU.
• Five or fewer inpatients who are positive for COVID-19 are on ventilators.
• Five or fewer who are positive for COVID-19 are on a BiPAP.
• 8,762 (cumulative) unique positives for COVID-19 tests including results from the ED, triage tent and inpatient. These individuals are not necessarily in the hospital.
• 42,405 (cumulative) unique negatives for COVID-19 at 新月直播 sites.
• 10,619 (cumulative) positive COVID-19 at 新月直播 sites. These individuals are not necessarily in the hospital.
• 81,058 (cumulative) negative tests at 新月直播 sites.
• 549 inpatients (cumulative) who were positive for COVID-19 have died at 新月直播. This is not an indication of the cause of death, only that the individuals were positive for COVID-19 at the time of death.
• 310 Tuscaloosa County residents (cumulative) who were positive for COVID-19 have died (per the Alabama Department of Public Health).
